This is our first year hosting a WordCamp in Lancaster, and we’ve selected a focus for our WordCamp of Accessibility on the Modern Web.
We are eager to welcome everyone to downtown Lancaster on Saturday, March 1st for the official WordCamp and afterparty, and will hold a Developer Day on Sunday, March 2nd for anyone interested in hands-on time working with code and other developers.
If you’re interested in proposing a talk, volunteering, or sponsoring us financially or in kind, please get in touch!
Speakers: Please plan to have your application submitted by Friday, January 24th.
How easily will WordCamp Lancaster be accessed from the Amtrak station?
What will be available for folks who want to function effectively-efficiently in WordPress without knowing code?
VisionCorps is just under a mile from the Amtrak Station, and the RRTA runs the Red Rose Trolley that you should be able to catch — VisionCorps is directly across the street from RRTA’s Queen Street Station.
Our hope is to keep the content varied enough that it can engage both designers and developers, as well as folks more focused on WordPress as users and content creators. There will be some talks that tend more to one end or the other, but the goal is to keep it appealing to both ends of the spectrum.
